Our rooms, behind the scenes
Each of our rooms is unique, with its own personality, and it's up to you to imagine the time that passes through this emblematic place in the center of Lyon. Aimée, the dreamy and ambitious habitée of the Opéra de Lyon, settles down to embroider in the velvet armchairs; Victor, the boatman, and his sweetheart Adèle spend their time admiring our restored paintings; Honoré, the former judge of the famous Palais de Justice, enjoys his bubble bath to round off an exciting day. Between the plunging view over Lyon and our peaceful interior courtyards; its muted lights and flamboyant character... The Bayard Bellecour hotel aims for the high standards and values of a bourgeois residence.
Please note that our rooms on the 1st floor are not served by an elevator.
Some rooms on the upper floors are accessible by elevator, others by staircase.
The Charming
A place of silence in the heart of Lyon
This room is ideal for one person or for a very short stay for two.
The walls feature floral patterns or thin stripes in solid colors, and the floors are either hardwood or carpeted. The bathroom may be open in a corner of the room or enclosed in a separate room.
Elegant and practical for a short stay in Lyon, this room is a gem in the heart of Lyon, close to Place Bellecour, Place Antonin Poncet, and Place des Céléstins. Our charming rooms can be equipped with a shower or bathtub and may overlook Place Bellecour or the rear of the hotel.

Les Boudoirs
The ideal room for a short break for two!
The Boudoir room is decorated with a variety of motifs, wood panelling, parquet flooring and a fireplace. The perfect setting for a couple's stay!
Its bathroom can be equipped with shower or bathtub; with bathtub, it's open to the room; with shower, it's semi-enclosed for greater privacy. What's more, these rooms can overlook Place Bellecour or the rear of the hotel.

Here is a refined suite that blends tradition with a contemporary flair. Peace and quiet are guaranteed, as all rooms face the courtyard. The stylish furnishings are period pieces. The floors feature either hardwood or carpet.

This is the room category most popular with our guests for its spacious comfort and peaceful atmosphere.
Our traditional rooms can be equipped with a double bed or two twin beds, depending on availability on the day of your arrival.

Our rooms are all equipped differently. Some have a classic bathroom, a closed and separate room; others are more atypical and have a bathroom that opens onto the bedroom area where curtains or screens protect privacy.
Our duvets and pillows are fully synthetic and hypoallergenic.
