How to get there?
By train
Located on the Lyon peninsula, 900 meters from the hotel, this station is served by certain TGV trains from Paris - Gare de Lyon. There are also TER trains from surrounding towns (Clermont-Ferrand, Vienne, Bourg-en-Bresse and Roanne).
ATTENTION: Part-Dieu station is 3km from Place Bellecour. The C9 bus will take you there quickly.

By car
Take the Lyon-Centre/Perrache exit. Continue along the Quai du Docteur Gailleton. Staying in the right-hand lane, follow the signs for Office de tourisme/Place Bellecour/Vieux Lyon.
After the subway, turn left towards Place Bellecour. You will have to go around Place Bellecour to get to 23 where the Bayard Hotel is located.
PARKING OPTION:
The simplest and closest option is the LPA PONCET public underground parking garage, located just 50 meters from our hotel. Price for 24 hours: €45.
By air
Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is located 25 kilometres from the city centre. 45 French and international airlines offer frequent connections between Lyon and major cities.

The road network is extensive around the airport: A432, A42, A46 and A43. This means that you can easily reach the Bayard hotel by car or taxi.
Our team will be happy to book a taxi for you on the day of your departure. The taxi will be waiting for you at the exit of the Bayard hotel.
Alternatively, the Rhône Express connects Lyon Part Dieu station to the airport in less than 30 minutes.

Our hotel is ideal for travelers arriving by train. If you have a choice, we recommend one of the two nearest train stations:
- Perrache Station, located 1 km from the hotel—a 15-minute walk or a 2-stop ride on Metro Line A;
- Part-Dieu Station—the C9 bus will drop you off at Place Bellecour, right in front of our hotel, in 20 minutes. If you’re carrying a lot of luggage, consider taking a taxi; there’s a taxi stand right outside the station.
Since our team does not specialize in organizing guided tours or customized tours, we prefer to rely on the expertise and professionalism of a group of private drivers and independent guides with whom we are in direct contact and who would be delighted to accompany you during your stay in Lyon.
In addition, the Tourist Office, our partner, is located on Place Bellecour and is open 7 days a week to provide you with the best possible advice.
The Bayard Hotel does not have on-site parking. However, just 50 meters from our entrance, you’ll find the LPA PONCET public underground parking garage, which is the most convenient option we usually recommend.
